Apple Samsung war: Samsung have to pay Apple $548M in patent case: After four years of long wait, finally Apple filed the original patent infringement lawsuit against Samsung, now Samsung ordered to pay $548 million to apple. But it doesn’t  mean that fight is over, because the two sides still disagree over whether or not Samsung will be able to get back an of the damages it will pay.

Samsung confirmed that it will pay $548 million to apple before 14th Dec, but the statement comes from Samsung that the company continues to reserve all rights to obtain reimbursement from Apple. But we cant say exactly what grounds Samsung might have to claim a reimbursement from Apple, and Apple sticking their eye on this report because it claims Samsung has no right to get any money back.

Samsung vs Apple: Samsung Apple war started four years ago, however this works out, it should finally mean the end to an interminably long legal battle between Apple and Samsung. As from the news, Apple filed the lawsuit in 2011, claiming that Samsung had infringed on patents for features like tap-to-zoom and multi-touch gestures. With this Apple Samsung war, Samsung ended up losing and Apple originally asked for $2.5 billion, that number has been brought down to the final fee of $548 million.

If we talk from starting of this war, ongoing lawsuits between Apple and Samsung regarding the design of smartphones and tablet computers. During this the companies sold more than half of smartphones worldwide as of July 2012. In the spring of 2011, Apple began litigating against Samsung in patent infringement suits, while Apple and Motorola Mobility were already engaged in a patent war on several fronts. Apple’s multinational litigation over technology patents became known as part of the mobile device “smartphone patent wars”.
