14 Things You Didn’t Know Your iPhone Can Do- Try them now: iPhone had been one of the most popular smart devices since its revelation. Apple has made iPhone very simple device to use, with all the developments in its iOS(till iOS 9). There are a lot of common tasks that iPhone can do for you but still, there are many interesting features included in iOS devices, which will make use of this device simpler and secure.

Here Are 14 Things You Didn’t Know Your iPhone Can Do

Let us see quite new and cool features included in iOS 9 those you might have missed:

1) Create alphanumeric and longer Passcode instead of numbers only

a. Go to Settings >> General >> Passcode Lock.
b. Unselect the option saying “Simple Passcode.”
c. As you turn off the option a window will pop-up asking to change the change the password and will be a full QWERTY keyboard instead of number pad only. Now on whenever you will be asked to enter the passcode a full keyboard will appear not a number pad only.

2) Make SIRI read out loud your Emails

You didn’t know? If you ask Siri to read out your Emails(“Read my email”), she will oblige and read out loud. First, she will say sender’s name and date-time of email and then the subject.

You can also ask her to “read my latest email” or say, “Do I have an email from [person name]?”

Tell Siri, 'Read my email,' and she'll oblige. You'll hear the sender's name, the date/time of the message, and the subject line. You can also instruct her to 'read my latest email' or ask, 'Do I have email from [person]?'

Many of us have not noticed yet that you can see when were your iMessages sent to the friends. While researching for the solution it turns out to be a stupidly simple way to do that. Timestamps of your messages can be seen by touching and dragging the text towards left(in iOS).

For a while, the fact that I couldn't see when my iMessages were sent drove me crazy. Turns out there's a stupidly easy way to view timestamps of your messages in iOS 7: touch and drag message bubbles to the left.

If you want to delete the text, you just tapped in. Just Shake your iPhone. This will pop-up a box saying “Undo Typing”. But if you again change your mind and want the same text message back then shake the phone again and a box will appear asking whether to “Redo Typing” or cancel.

 6) Easy way to see a detailed view of your calendar

Turn your phone horizontally when in your calendar app to see a more detailed view of your appointments.

This is also a simple trick, some of us might be knowing it already, but for them who missed. To turn on the Caps Lock key you can just double tap the shift key and now type whatever you want to.

This is so simple to do, yet totally changed my ability to CONVEY HOW EXCITED OR MAD I WAS to my friends without having to hit the shift arrow every time.NB: If this isn't working for you, go to Settings>General>Keyboard and make sure Caps Lock is enabled.

9) Turn-off all irritating in-app purchases using single button

Everyone of us irritated with all in-app-purchases. We found out a way to get rid of these in-app purchases. Go to Settings >> General >> select Restrictions. Enable Restrictions in all apps while scrolling down.

This is especially useful if you have kids, or have zero self-control when it comes to Candy Crush. Go to Settings > General > Restrictions, Enable Restrictions, and scroll down to disable In-App Purchases.

10) Turn on burst mode while capturing images

To activate Burst Mode just hold down the shutter button in camera and Burst mode will activate automatically. Your iPhone will snap as many pictures as you want in a rapid succession and save them in gallery. Now you can use them to create gif file or slow-motion videos through appropriate apps.

11) Type an Em-Dash(-)

For getting access to cool dashes menu just holds down the dash button in your keypad, now you can use them to send nice grammatical sticklers.

Hold down the dash on your keyboard to get a super-cool menu of dashes, which you can use to please all your grammar stickler friends.

12) Take a photo using the volume button

Instead of using the touch circle to snap your selfie, hit the 'up' volume button. It lets you hold the phone — and camera — more steadily.

13) Capture images using earbuds

To capture images using earbuds, press the center of the headphone button while in camera app to snap a picture with the main camera or selfies camera.

Press the center of the headphone button when in the camera app to snap a pic. Also great for selfies!

14) How to charge your iPhone twice faster

You can put your iPhone in Airplane mode to charge it twice faster. This method is very useful during travel over a plane or at a bar.
