LeTV Le Max Pro will be the first ever phone to include Snapdragon 820: Qualcomm at CES2016 has revealed that LeTV’s Le Max Pro will be the first smartphone that will run on the all new Snapdragon 820 processor. The chipmaker confirmed that the Chinese brand LeTV’s latest handset will be the first smartphone to sport its latest top-end mobile processor. LeTV will start selling its Le Max Pro smartphones starting in the first half of 2016

This announcement from Qualcomm has definitely slashed the rumors that claimed Samsung will be the first company to include the Snapdragon 820 chipset until April 2016 and the first handset to have Qualcomm’s latest offering would be the Samsung Galaxy S7.

To recall, the Snapdragon 820 was announced back in November comes with the all-new Qualcomm Kryo which is the next big thing by the world’s biggest Android chipmaker. The Kyro CPU has been manufactured using a new, more efficient 16nm process which is claimed to have 2x performance and efficiency when compared to the Snapdragon 810. Talking about LeTV Le Max Pro specifications, the company’s first 64-bit CPU that uses the ARMv8-A instruction set – Qualcomm had settled for non-custom Cortex-A57 and Cortex-A53 cores on the Snapdragon 810.

The Kryo CPU uses Qualcomm’s Symphony System Manager (SSM) and is a 64-bit quad-core processor with speeds up to 2.2GHz. The Snapdragon 820 also packs the new Qualcomm Hexagon 680 DSP, which is claimed to bring improvements to performance and battery life, and Qualcomm Adreno 530 GPU. In terms of LTE speeds, the Snapdragon 820 supports LTE Category 12 download speeds of up to 600Mbps, and LTE Category 13 uplink speeds of up to 150Mbps.

LeTV Le Max Pro is truly a big beast of a phone. It’s got a gigantic 6.33 inch display with a resolution of 2K resolution. LeTV Le MaxPro will be the company’s first 64-bit CPU that uses the ARMv8-A instruction set – Qualcomm had settled for non-custom Cortex-A57 and Cortex-A53 cores on the Snapdragon 810. The Kryo CPU in LeTv Le Max Pro features Qualcomm’s Symphony System Manager (SSM) and is a 64-bit quad-core processor that will speeds up to 2.2GHz.

The Snapdragon 820 in LeTv Max Le Pro also packs the new Qualcomm Hexagon 680 DSP, which is claimed to bring enhancements to performance and battery life, and Qualcomm Adreno 530 GPU to boost the graphics of the smartphone.

The company during the CES keynote also revealed that the Le Max Pro is running Android 6.0 Marshmallow and will support Qualcomm Quick Charge 2.0 technology that will charge the phone from 0 to 60 percent charge in 30 minutes.

According to latest news, LeTV Le Max Pro will cost around RMB 3,500 in China and LeTV Le Max Pro will have price tag of $535 in US> As of now there is no news regarding the availability of LeTV Le Max Handset.
