Windows 10 Users can now try Microsoft’s Your Phone App To Mirror Phone Content To A PC
Microsoft has just made available its Your Phone app on Microsoft Store. The app was first unveiled by Microsoft in May 2018 at the company’s Build developer conference. As per Verge news portal, they started testing this app last month as its Insiders campaign and now it has made Your Phone app available to all Windows 10 users.
As promised by Microsft the app has come up first to support Android smartphones and in the future, it may go further to support other smartphones. The app mirrors your phone’s content directly to your PC using which you can directly drag and drop photos from phone to your PC.
Till now it only supports the photo gallery to be mirrored but Microsoft is planning to make it supportive to text message syncing and notifications from Android phone directly in future. The software giant was testing Your Phone as a part of company’s upcoming Redstone 5 update for Windows 10 OS. But it has already launched this app without waiting to be bundled it with other updates which mean users with the current version and some previous versions will also support Your Phone.
Microsoft may have promised to make their app supportive of iPhones too but it may take a while to do so, till then iOS users may have to wait. Android users can surely try this new app from Microsoft if they have updated Windows 10, at least until April updates.
