Most of us know how lazy major manufacturers such as Xiaomi, Samsung, HTC, Huawei and others have been in rolling out security updates in the last few years. Which leaves Android devices prone to malicious software and hackers. As per the latest Android License book, all manufacturers who are using Android as their operating system will have to deliver at least 4 security updates in the first year of device launch and for the second year, the number of installments is not specified.

OnePlus 6T to Sport an Upgraded 20MP Front-Facing Camera and Gorilla Glass 6

But the whole specs sheet of OnePlus 6T has already been leaked by a Twitter user Ishan Aggarwal. We had already heard a lot of rumors and confirmed specs but in this latest leak, we got more updates. First of all, OnePlus 6T will have a 20MP selfie camera on the front and OnePlus 6T will be the second smartphone to feature a Corning Gorilla Glass 6 after the Oppo R17 handset. As opposed to previous leaks the handset will have 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage as the base model and there is no 64GB model. Other key specs of OnePlus 6T include a 6.4-inch AMOLED screen with a resolution of 2340 x 1080 pixels, Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC, 3700mAh battery, and an 8GB RAM 128GB internal storage variant.

OxygenOS 5.1.6 Update Brings Idea VoLTE Support to OnePlus 5 and 5T1

Well, OnePlus is releasing OxygenOS 5.1.6 software update along with its security patch of October month which will enable Idea VoLTE functionality in your OnePlus 5 and OnePlus 5T smartphone in India. This latest update is bringing several new features to your OnePlus 5 and OnePlus 5T handset including the Project Treble support. The update is being seeded to OnePlus 5 and 5T globally and you may get it eventually. But you can manually go in Settings and check for available updates.

Samsung Galaxy S10 will reportedly come in 5G, Plus, budget versions

Wait for the 5G handset will soon be over as Samsung is planning on launching its next S-series handset with 5G support – Samsung Galaxy S10. Even Xiaomi might also launch its 5G enabled Mi Mix 3 handset next year in the first half. Samsung is expected to launch a trio of Galaxy S10 model just like Apple did this year and might include a 5G variant in the US.

As reported by Bloomberg on Friday, the S10 is codenamed as “Beyond”, Galaxy S10 is expected to have a 5.8- inch display just like Galaxy S9 model. In other rumors, the handset is supposed to sport triple camera on the back and a front camera under the OLED screen. The screen will be curved on both sides with rounded corners. There will be no bezel virtually on top and bottom.

Samsung is reportedly following Apple’s lead by developing a trio of Galaxy S10 models and is looking to launch a 5G version in the US.

Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 was announced on Thursday at Forbidden City event as part of the all screen smartphone line up. The key features of Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 include a 6.39-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of the 2,340×1,080pixel resolution, powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor, backed by 3,200 mAh battery, and 2 cameras on each front and back. The Mi Mix 3 handset is expected to launch in 4 variants with 6GB RAM with 128GB onboard storage, 8GB RAM with 128GB storage, 8GB RAM with 256GB storage and 10GB with 256GB onboard storage. If we go with the speculations then the handset will support the 5G network and will be one of the first 5G handsets in the world. The fingerprint sensor will stay at the back panel of the phone and it will support wireless charging.
