With the bad news of the demise of Inbox by Google also comes great news from Google at Game Developer Conference 2019 happening in San Francisco right now. The conference (#GDC2019) has already started at 10 AM Pacific Time and Google has unveiled its mysterious gaming project Stadia.

Hearing future gaming if you are expecting them to announce no necessary extra hardware apart from owning a PC with internet connection, well it looks something exactly like that as GDC 2019 revealing.

With Stadia, a user can play games directly in their browser without needing any high-end hardware. The most basic PC desktop, tablets, and smartphones will be able to support high-quality AAA games. Now no need to download updates install patches, and wait to play when you can start playing the game instantly as you discover it.

Stadia is a game streaming service that can run high-end games on low-end hardware and allows the user to swap devices and resume where they left off. Supports 4k60 with 8k possible in future.

One of the major features, Stadia comes with parental control too.

While many game companies rely on Google Cloud Platform for their server and infrastructure needs, today’s conference is going to be different. Stadia will get launch in the US, Canada, UK and most of the parts of Europe first then may expand in the rest of the world.

Google has been working on the project from the last six months and they have revealed the cloud gaming today at GDC 2019. IN initial tests company is offering to play Assasin’s Creed Odyssey in the Google Chrome browser. The game will run in the Google Data centre near to your location.
