Design and Display:

Moto 360 which was launched in 2014 was one of the most successful Android Smartwatch because of its round shape which give Moto 360 fantastic look. Fortunately Moto 360 (2nd Gen.) remains in round and gives attractive look with a thickness of 11.4 mm which is necessary to fit all the component required, 2nd Gen is much attractive in look and advanced in features too. Black bar on the bottom which was available in Moto 360 was one of the biggest complaint in design and is also available in 360 (2nd Gen.) too. Motorola has given a reason for this is that, bar houses ambient light sensor that enable an auto brightness mode so without the bar the smartwatch will be more thick. Moto 360(2nd Gen.) is having a 1.37 inch IPS LCD display with 263 ppi density and the largest variant is having 1.56 inch display with 233 ppi density.

Smartwatch light sensor will automatically adjust brightness in ideal mode and can be switched off if you choose. The screen is sharp enough that that can be legible in harsh light, touch response is also good. Now lets have a difference between the previous Gen of Moto 360 and New one, New moto 360 ( 2nd Gen.) will be available in 5 variants out of them 4 is  for men and one is  for women.


Moto rola Moto 360 (2nd Gen.) runs on Android 5.1.1 and other features of new OS includes wrist flick navigation. This includes information on battery and storage status, cinema mode that prevent screen from switching off. Andoid version will be upgraded and user can operate a lot of smartwatch function with this smartwatch. The SoC will be upgraded to quad core 1.2 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 400, Previous Moto 360 is having Texas Instruments SoC that was the main root for various problems, and now those issues will be resolved with Snapdragon 400 in it.

Smartwatch features a 512 MB of RAM with 4GB internal storage capacity, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.0. User can select the watch face, which means you can custom watch face as you can chose the background of your choice. Moto Body app is featured in it, which will count step taken and heart rate. Inductive charging is required to power up the device, you have to drop the watch onto its charging cradle and charging takes over. The main adapter is having two USB ports, so that you can also charge another device at the same time along with it. Smartwatch is having 3000 mAh battery storage capacity and can be fully charged with in 2 hr. and can be use for full day after getting it fully charged, 46 mm variant is having 4000 mAh battery which give more battery life.

Price: You can buy 43 mm silver variant with metal strap just at Rs. 22,999 while 42 mm silver variant with brown leather strap at a price of Rs. 19,999 and 42 mm black variant with black leather strap or Golden women variant having a blush leather strap in it. For Rs. 23.999 you will get 46 mm black variant with metal strap.The main difference between the feamale and male variant is, women variant is having lungs closer to each other and strap is narrow as aresult. Smartwatch is IP67  water resistant but because of having leather strap user is to be careful around the water.
